Several social and cultural events for families upbringing children with disabilities were recently organized by specialists of the Social Assistance Department of the Complex Social Service Centre in municipal district of Kaybitsy. The events were held in the frames of VI All-Russian Charitable Campaign “Volunteering for sake of children”. For example, street action “Summer colours round dance” gathered 4 families upbringing children with special needs. Among sponsors of the event was Central Children’s Library of Kaybitsy municipal district.

Another cultural event coincided with the 100th Anniversary of Tatar Autonomous Soviet Socialist Republic was recently held by specialists in social work of the Complex Social Service Centre in Mendeleyevsk municipal district. The event gathered more than twenty clients of the Centre – senior citizens and people with disabilities.

State Employment Service for the Republic of Tatarstan administrates Official Web Portal of the Government Employment Service. The portal is proved to be popular among job seekers, employers, people with disabilities as well as school leavers.

Another working seminar for specialists in social work of Social Assistance Departments and Complex Social Service Centres was recently organized by psychologists Guzel Salimanova and Natalya Tyuneva in cooperation with speech pathologist Gulnara Rasimbetova in the Rehabilitation Centre for Children with disabilities in Naberezhnye Chelny. The workshop was devoted to issues of rehabilitation of children with autistic spectrum disorders. According to specialists, autism and autism spectrum disorders are neurological conditions which affect the brain and its ability to function. A child affected by autism may experience limited motor function, as well as problems with speech and communication, concentration and behavior.

Due to the State Health Protection Programm that has been implemented in the Republic of Tatarstan for the last several years, educational organizations as well as social service institutions across the republic are heavily pushing for more physical activity in physical education classes, after-school programs and community-based programs for children. This will also mean a greater push for the availability of adapted physical education services, which are so important for youth with disabilities.

Total amount of unpaid wages in the Republic of Tatarstan reduced by 9 359 000 rubles. In August 2017, 61 employees of four enterprises of Tatarstan were paid out their wages.

Professional orientation quiz – show for children “Labyrinth of Professions” was recently organized by specialists of Zelenodolsk Employment Centre in one of the summer holiday camps for children in Zelenodolsk municipal district.

Last Friday, no 4 August 2017 a regular meeting with local employers devoted to issues of employment quota system for people with disabilities set for enterprises and organizations in 2017.

Clients of Kazan Rehabilitation Center for Children with Disabilities both children and their parents last week were trained in bomb thread and suspicious packages procedures.

Personal reception of citizens has been held today by Elmira Zaripova, Minister of Labour, Employment and Social protection of the Republic of Tatarstan in Laishevo municipal district.
