Social and cultural events for children with disabilities in municipal district of Kaybitsy

Several social and cultural events for families upbringing children with disabilities were recently organized by specialists of the Social Assistance Department of the Complex Social Service Centre in municipal district of Kaybitsy. The events were held in the frames of VI All-Russian Charitable Campaign “Volunteering for sake of children”. For example, street action “Summer colours round dance” gathered 4 families upbringing children with special needs. Among sponsors of the event was Central Children’s Library of Kaybitsy municipal district.

According to Guzel Galiullina, Head of the Social Assistance Department for Family and Children, - “visiting libraries helps children to explore a wide choice of stories, old and new, together with lots of picture books for younger readers. Workers of the library do not forget about DVDs. Libraries usually have excellent books to help with school projects and hobbies. The library has its own website to provide their clients with the opportunity to keep an eye out for other children’s events held throughout the year”.
