Employers in Tatarstan need 39594 workers in total. Over the reporting period from 7 to 13 August employment requirement recorded with the government employment service amounted to 2189 openings.
There are 19855 people registered as unemployed with the government employment service in Tatarstan as of today.

Ministry of labour, employment and social protection keeps on reporting about the people injured in industrial accidents. According to the data of the State Labour Inspectorate 2 fatal cases and 3 serious industrial accidents were registered over the period from 2 to 9 July.
State tech-schools and colleges of vocational education are still admitting applicants for target training on contract.

The seminar on labour safety devoted to the question of influence of working conditions on reduction of the industrial injury and professional disease level will be held on 15 August by Ministry of labour, employment and social protection in cooperation with Autonomous Non-Profit Organisation Privolzhskyi center of educational innovations “Praktik”.

A new federal law № 162 from 2 July 2013 implementing changes in the law on employment regulation “Concerning Employment in the Russian Federation” (hereinafter referred to as Federal Law № 162) came into effect on 14 July 2013.
The number of vacancies reported by employers is twice as much against the number of unemployed people in Tatarstan. The jobless rate remains unchanged this week standing at 0,98%.
Presently republican job bank counts more than 40739 vacancies. Just over the period under report from 31 July to 6 August 4308 vacancies were registered with the government employment service in Tatarstan.
The last reporting period from 31 July to 6 August showed an insignificant drop of unemployment level. The number of unemployed decreased last week by 103 people and now amounts in total to 20008 people.
