State tech-schools and colleges of vocational education are still admitting applicants for target training on contract.
124 applications from school leavers with basic general education were admitted on specialization “Industrial process and production automation” of Nizhnekamsk Oil and Gas College.
It is noteworthy that the state order for this specialization is 25 people. The same situation is in Technical College n.a. V.D.Potashov in Naberezhnye Chelny. 50 applications are admitted on specialization “Networking” while the state order for this specialization is 25 people.
It is to be noted here that target training on contract was before implemented in high school only. Now it is available in tech-schools and colleges of vocational education.
To start a target training a student have to sign a contract with a college and future employer. According to the contract the future employer (company) guarantees a student an on-the-job training and pre-graduation internship, job placement and payment of allowance on appointment. A student in his turn have to get high grades while studding. Having graduated from the college a student have to work at the company at least 3 years.
The state undertakes to pay a student an enhanced stipend that amounts to a minimum official wage and compensation of 300 RUB per day to nonresident students for a failure to provide him with a college dorm room.
The aim of the target training program is to supply Tatarstan economy with qualified workers with secondary vocational education, promote trades and crafts and create for young specialists opportunities to grow professionally within an enterprise or organizations of the Republic of Tatartan.
