2 fatal cases and 3 serious industrial accidents on the factory floor in Tatarstan

Ministry of labour, employment and social protection keeps on reporting about the people injured in industrial accidents. According to the data of the State Labour Inspectorate 2 fatal cases and 3 serious industrial accidents were registered over the period from 2 to 9 July.

The first fatal case happened on 5 August at OOO Nurlat asphalt plant. A worker storing the bricks in a curing shed died clutched between the moving components.

The second fatal case dated 6 August happened at OOO TAIF-ST in Kazan to a 34-year old crane operator who died of the electric shock lifting a steel T-joint of the water pipe.

A serious industrial accident was registered on 4 August in Sabinsky raion. A tractor operator of OOO Kursobash was intoxicated with hydrogen sulphide washing the tank with dairy unit wastes

Another case happened to a 23 year old machine-operator of ZAO Vostokzernoprodukt in Alkeyevsky raion who got his leg injured while pressing straw. 

The last case happened on 6 August to a 34 year old mechanic of          Municipal Unitary Enterprise Vodokanal who got an arc eye while relining the pipe.

No group cases were registered over the reporting period.

All the cases are now under investigation.
