Most of people registered as unemployed resigned voluntarily

The last reporting period from 31 July to 6 August showed an insignificant drop of unemployment level. The number of unemployed decreased last week by 103 people and now amounts in total to 20008 people.

In particular 663 people were registered as unemployed over the last week. 431 of them were dismissed (310 people resigned voluntarily and 44 people were fired because of the staff reduction or liquidation of a company).

It should here be remarked that Kazan and Naberezhnye Chelny, also known as Avtograd, have the largest number of people registered as unemployed with the government employment service – 4234 and 2769 respectively. The smallest number of  unemployed is registered in Kaybitsky raion – 41 people in total.
