Minister of Labour, Employment and Social protection played a working visit to Boston, USA on the official delegation of the Republic of Tatarstan headed by the President Rustam Minnikhanov. The purpose of the visit was to participate in the Russian Innovation Week (RIW) that was held from 17 to 20 September.

866 people were registered as unemployed with the government employment service in Tatarstan over the period from 10 to 17 September. 615 of them were dismissed. At that 396 people left for their personal reason, 54 people – by reason of liquidation of organization or staff reduction.

The jobless rate in Tatarstan this week remains unchanged and stands at 0,92%.

A mini career fair was held today in Privolzhsky job centre. Representatives of HR Departments of such companies as ООО Bakhetle-1, ОOO Rosgosstrakh Regional Office in Tatarstan, ООО Cleaning-Partner, Individual Businessman Davyidova G.N., AZS OAO HK NP Management (regional office), ООО Regional Centre for Qualified Personnel Recruitment took part in the fair and suggested in total 996 openings.

Ministry of Labour, Employment and Social protection keeps on reporting about the people injured in industrial accidents. According to the data of the State Labour Inspectorate 3 fatal cases were registered over the period from 7 to 13 September. The first fatal case happened on 9 September in Aktanyishskiy raion to a 23 year old roustabout of OOO Tan who died asphyxiated having fallen into the receiving pit.

Social Index in Tatarstan for the second quarter 2013 equals 106,0% or 102,0% at an average for each month of the quarter.

Tatyana Zhuravleva, the head of the Republican information and methodological centre “Gaile” and Julia Piyadina, the head of the Methodology Department of the centre took part in the Second International Conference Work Together For Children that was held in Saint-Petersburg.
