Republican information and methodological centre “Gaile” takes part in international conference

Tatyana Zhuravleva, the head of the Republican information and methodological centre “Gaile” and Julia Piyadina, the head of the Methodology Department of the centre took part in the Second International Conference Work Together For Children that was held in Saint-Petersburg.

During the work of the Conference the specialists from the social protection sphere examined the statistics of children without parental care in 20 territorial subject, discussed the experience in establishment special services of early intervention and standards of supporting families with adopted children.

Furthermore, the participants were represented United Nations Guidelines for the Alternative Care of Children, one of the key international instrument.

As noted by the Organizers, the Conference was aimed to become a place for interchange of experience between the leading Russian and foreign specialists in the sphere of children protection.

It should be noted that this event was held as a part of All Russian project of creation an effective system of planning and implementation of Work Together For Children Programme on federal and regional level.
