According to specialists of the Government Employment Service, entrepreneurship and self-employment help to create jobs, develop skills and give unemployed and vulnerable people an opportunity to fully participate in society and the economy.

Several career guidance lessons for schoolchildren of 8 – 11 forms were given this month by specialists of the Mobile Office of the Employment Center in Almetyevsk municipal district.

Another festive event coincided with Defender of the Fatherland Day was recently held in Kukmor municipal district. Participants of the event learned that the holiday marks the date in 1918 during the Russian Civil War when the first mass draft into the Red Army occurred. Defender of the Fatherland  Day was given its current name after the collapse of the Soviet Union. Previously it had been known as Red Army Day and later Soviet Army and Navy Day.

Specialists of the Government Employment Service for Chistopol municipal district organized a specialized employment fair for senior citizens who were able and wished to work.

Specialists of Buinsk Complex Social Service Centre in cooperation with local volunteers’ division took part in a social action aimed to help senior citizens and people with disabilities living along clean their houses and surrounding territory from snow.

Professional orientation quiz – show for children “My profession – My career” was recently organized by specialists of Sarmanovo Employment Centre in one of the general schools of Almetyevsk municipal district. The event gathered 95 minors.

According to specialists in social work of Bugulma Social Service Centre, anxiety symptoms are common in children and adolescents, with 10-20% of school-aged children experiencing anxiety symptoms. An even larger number of children experience stress that does not qualify as an anxiety disorder.

Regular lesson on professional orientation was recently organized by specialists in professional orientation of Employment Centre for Chistopol municipal district.

Women for Sobriety Club a society for women dedicated to helping women discover an abstinent new life. It is a self-help recovery program based on the unique emotional needs of women. Women for Sobriety Club was founded several years ago upon the initiative of specialists in social work of Nizhnekamsk Social Service Centre for Family and Children.

Due to work performed by the Republican Inter-Departmental Commission for Living Standards, Labour and Foreign Workers in the Republic of Tatarstan, total amount of unpaid wages in reduced this week by 3 million rubles.
