The largest number of people (154) recognized as unemployed by the state employment service over the reporting period from February 24 to March 1 2016 were those dismissed from wholesale and retail trade companies. A lot of discharges (120) were as well registered at processing industry companies.

There are 18 508 people registered as unemployed with the government employment service in Tatarstan as of March 1, 2016. The jobless level in Tatarstan stands at 0,9% of the number of economically active population.
