International Women's Day declared to be a non-work day (holiday)

The Ministry of Labour, Employment and Social Protection of the Repupublic of Tatarstan informs.

In accordance with Article 112 of the Labour Code of the Russian Federation, the 8th of March - International Women's Day is declared to be a non-work day (holiday).

As consistent with the Decree of the Government of the Russian Federation from 24 September 2015 № 1017  “About staggering of holidays in 2016” standard public holiday falling on a weekend should be moved on the first non-weekend day after the weekend.

In summary, in 2016 upon conditions of a 5-day working week, 5, 6, 7 and 8 March will be non-working days (holidays).
