Wholesale and retail trade leads in number of dismissals

The largest number of people (154) recognized as unemployed by the state employment service over the reporting period from February 24 to March 1 2016 were those dismissed from wholesale and retail trade companies. A lot of discharges (120) were as well registered at processing industry companies.

In other economic activities as of the end of the week the situation was as follows:  60 workers that lost their jobs were employed in construction, 47 – real estate business, 40 - in the transport and communication sector, 54 - financial sector, 28 - in housing and municipal services, 48 – education,  25 - in public health service, 29 - in agricultural sector, 30 - public administration and defence, 11 - in HoReCa business, 9 -mineral production, 15 - in power industry.
