In the frames of the Decade of People with Disabilities traditionally held in December, a round-table discussion devoted to issues of rehabilitation of people with disabilities in social institutions of Yelabuga municipal district was recently held within the walls of the residential care facility for senior citizens and people with disabilities in Yelabuga.

A regular video conferencing meeting has been held today in the Ministry of Labour, Employment and Social Protection of the Republic of Tatarstan. The agenda of the meeting included the following issues: social services rendered to citizens registered on social patronage, implementation of individual rehabilitation and abilitation programme, celebration of Heroes of Fatherland Day.

In the frames of the “Secure territory” Programme implemented in Bugulma municipal district, several “Safety lessons” were given in local rehabilitation centre for children with disabilities last week.

In the frames of the Decade of People with Disabilities there was a competition “Limited abilities - boundless capabilities” held in Arsk Culture Centre.

Regular employment fair for people with disabilities will be held in the Employment Centre of Almetyevsk on 7 December 2016.

Clay therapy master – classes were recently organized by specialists in rehabilitation of the Social Rehabilitation Department of the Complex Social Service Centre in Mamadyish. Senior citizens and people with disabilities with great pleasure moulded figures out of clay.

Regular Charitable Marathon “From Heart to Heart” that had already become a tradition was recently started in in Vyisokogorsky municipal district. The aim of the Marathon was to raise money and attract attention of philanthropists – residents of  Vyisokogorsky municipal district to problems of families upbringing children with disabilities.

A new Department of the State Medical and Social Examination Service for Aznakayevo municipal district has been opened today in the frames of the Decade of People with Disabilities.

In the frames of Professional Orientation Project “Ticket to future” implemented in Chistopol specialists of local Employment Centre designed informational posters containing information about engineering trades and manual labour occupations as well as information about educational institutions of the Republic of Tatarstan educating students for different professions.

Specialists of social Assistance Department for Family and Children of the Complex social Service Centre in cooperation with activists of several local volunteers divisions such as “Volunteer”, “Young people of M-town”, “Volunteers of Victory” recently held another street action “Life is Wonderful”.
