21 June 2017, prior to Day of Remembrance and Grief – the beginning of Great Patriotic War annually marked in Russia, an excursion to Monument to soldiers who fell in battles during the Great Patriotic War in 1941-45 was organized by Guzel Galyazetdinova, specialist in rehabilitation of the Rehabilitation Centre for Children with Disabilities in Naberezhnye Chelny. The event gathered 13 children – clients of the Centre.
Special event under for children with disabilities – clients of the Complex Social Service Centre was recently held by specialists in social work. It should be noted that such events became a good tradition.
June 22 is a Day of Memory and Grief in Russia. It is one of the most tragic dates in its history: 74 years ago, the Great Patriotic War started. Special event coincided with this date is annually organized in Cheremshany municipal district. this year among the participants of the event were schoolchildren and students, workers of social service institutions.
Special event under slogan Day of June Birthday Children was recently held by specialists in rehabilitation for their clients – children with disabilities in Rehabilitation Center for Children with Disabilities in Kukmor municipal district.
“Carefull pedestrian” Children’s Drawing Competition was recently held in the social shelter for minors in Pestretsy municipal district. The event was devoted to road safety and traffic rules every child has to conduct. The event gathered twenty children of pre-school age.
Specialists in social work of the Complex Social Service Centre promote awareness of social net and state services rendered by social service institutions in municipal district of Vyisokaya Gora.
Professional orientation program for schoolchildren has being implemented by specialists of the Employment Centre in Yelabuga municipal district since May 2017.
The First Volga Region Forum of Social Workers coincided with Social Worker Day annually celebrated in the beginning of June will be opened tomorrow in the capital of the Republic of Tatarstan – Kazan. The Forum will be devoted to innovative approaches to social patronage of families upbringing children with special needs and social adaptation of handicapped children to individual life.
Gardening program for children has being implemented in the social shelter for minors in Pestretsy municipal district in the frames of the Republican Social Project “We can do it together”. The children spend hours digging, watering and tending to flowers, fruit and vegetables that they have planted. According to specialists in social work, special needs youngsters thrive when given horticultural tasks.
A gardening program was implemented by the nursing staff for children in the social shelter for minors in Pestretsy municipal district. By establishing and maintaining the garden and participating in garden group discussions, children practiced teamwork, studied life cycles and discussed topics of therapeutic significance.
