Day of Remembrance and Grief – the beginning of Great Patriotic War in Cheremshany municipal district

June 22 is a Day of Memory and Grief in Russia. It is one of the most tragic dates in its history: 74 years ago, the Great Patriotic War started. Special event coincided with this date is annually organized in Cheremshany municipal district. this year among the participants of the event were schoolchildren and students, workers of social service institutions.
Participants of the memorial event, ‘Memory Line,' made an installation from hundreds lit candles at night on June 21, on the eve of the Day of Memory and Grief. Each of the candles symbolizes one day of the war.
