Volga Region Forum of Social Workers

The First Volga Region Forum of Social Workers coincided with Social Worker Day annually celebrated in the beginning of June will be opened tomorrow in the capital of the Republic of Tatarstan – Kazan. The Forum will be devoted to innovative approaches to social patronage of families upbringing children with special needs and social adaptation of handicapped children to individual life.

The agenda of the Forum will include the following issues: implementation of effective models of social patronage of families upbringing children with special needs, new technologies used in social work with senior citizens, social adaptation of handicapped children to individual life. Among the participants of the Forum will be more than 400 social care institutions of the Republic of Tatarstan.
