“Smile of Wisdom 2017” Creativity Competition coincided with the International Day of Older Persons will be held this weekend in the capital of the Republic of Tatarstan – Kazan. The Competition will be held with support from specialists of the Ministry of Labour, Employment and Social Protection of the Republic of Tatarstan, United Russia political party, City Veterans’ Organization, Kazan Complex Social Service Centre.

According to specialists in social work of the social shelter for minors, point out that by not imparting legal education to their children, parents are keeping them in the dark. The crime rate would come down if children were educated of their rights such as laws related to child rights and child labour.

Due to work performed by the Republican Inter-Departmental Commission for Living Standards, Labour and Foreign Workers in the Republic of Tatarstan, total amount of unpaid wages in Tatarstan reduced by 9481,5 thousand rubles.

1-2 November 2017, a visiting session of the State Duma Committee on Labor, Social Policy and Veterans Affairs will be held in the capital of the Republic of Tatarstan Kazan. On these days a regular meeting of the Committee on Social Policy of the State Council of Tatarstan will be held. The meetings will be devoted to Republican Action Strategy for Senior Citizen implemented in the Republic of Tatarstan. Parliamentarians will be welcomed to discuss the results of active aging plans and programs, and Tatarstan is expected to share positive experience of the above mentioned age-friendly strategy.

Several career guidance lessons were given by specialists in professional orientation of Almetyevsk Employment Centre in public general schools of Almetyevsk municipal district in October 2017.

Regular meeting of Coordination Council on Labor Compensation, Incomings and Social Standard of Living established by Trilateral Commission for the Regulation of Social and Labour Relations was held on 20 October 2017 within the walls of the Ministry of Labour, Employment and Social Protection of the Republic of Tatarstan.

Final round of Senior Citizens Talent Competition was held within the walls of the residential care facility for senior citizens and people with disabilities in Aksubayevo municipal district on 19 October 2017. The Competition was organized in cooperation with the Ministry of Labour, Employment and Social Protection of the Republic of Tatarstan and Republican Recourse Social Service Centre.

Meeting concerning employment of disabled people of active working age was yesterday held within the walls of the Employment Centre in Aktanyish municipal district with participation of local employers.
