A career fair for senior citizens of Kazan will be organized on 13 November by the specialists of Vakhitovsky raion job centre.

The showings of the last reporting period from 9 to 15 October revealed an insignificant increase by 175 people in the number of unemployed in Tatarstan. So the number of jobless totals today 17 921 people (including 840 people recognized as unemployed over the last reporting week). 583 of them were resigned (433 – by their own will, 40 - by reason of liquidation of organization or staff reduction).

At the moment the number of vacancies reported by employers is twice the number of unemployed registered with the government employment service in Tatarstan. The jobless rate in this week remains unchanged and stands at 0,87%.

Ministry of Labour, Employment and Social protection in cooperation with the Republican Social Service Centre for Family and Children “Gayle” organizes an annual children's holiday The World of Creativity for social shelters nurselings and children from multi-child and needy families. The holiday is traditionally held on National Day of Unity.

Ministry of Labour, Employment and Social protection keeps on reporting about the people injured in industrial accidents on the factory floor in Tatarstan. According to the data of the State Labour Inspectorate, 1 serious industrial accident and 1 fatal case were registered over the period from 26 October to 1 November.

113 people recognized as unemployed over the last week were those dismissed in the sphere of wholesale and retail trade. 92 people that lost their jobs worked for the processing industry companies.

To be more precisely, Tatarstan companies and organizations need 38 528 workers and their demands are increasing day by day. So the number of vacancies reported by employers over reporting week from 23 to 29 October amounted to 2729.
