Incidents report: 1 serious industrial accident and 1 fatal case

Ministry of Labour, Employment and Social protection keeps on reporting about the people injured in industrial accidents on the factory floor in Tatarstan. According to the data of the State Labour Inspectorate, 1 serious industrial accident and 1 fatal case were registered over the period from 26 October to 1 November.

The fatal case happened on 30 October at OOO Trade and manufacturing company Ak Bars in Kazan. Assembling a lighting unit on the wheelchair ramp an electrician fell down stairs on the concrete floor and got a fatal head injury.

The serious industrial accident was registered on 29 October at OOO Petrol – Service in Almetyevsk. The driller got a naso-malar fracture and brain concussion as a sling slipped from the tubing pipe.

No group cases were registered over the reporting period.

All the accidents are under investigation.
