According to statistics, there are 17 526  people registered as unemployed with the government employment service in Tatarstan as of 22 April (229 people less than as of the last week).

The largest number of people (128) recognized as unemployed over the period from 16 to 22 April were those dismissed from the processing industry companies. A lot of discharges (111) were as well registered among the workers of wholesale and retail trade.

Ministry of Labor, Employment and Social protection keeps on reporting about people injured in industrial accidents on the factory floor in Tatarstan. According to the data of the State Labour Inspectorate, 1 group case, 5 serious industrial accidents and 1 fatal cases were registered over the period from 14 to 18 April.
