Meeting of Welfare and SafetyCoordination Council

A regular meeting of Welfare and Safety Coordination Council devoted to problems of occurrence rate of industrial injuries registered in 2016 in agricultural sector of the Republic of Tatarstan has been recently held within the walls of the Ministry of Agriculture of the Republic of Tatarstan. The meeting was chaired by Marat Gafarov, the First deputy minister of labour, employment and social protection of the Republic of Tatarstan.

In his report devoted to accident prevention measures the First Deputy Minister pointed out that accident frequency rate in agricultural sector of Tatarstan decreased by 14% in 2016. According to Marat Gafarov it was possible due to outreach and awareness-raising work as well as strengthening of control that led to maintaining proper workplace discipline.
