At the next Nordic walking lesson, clients of the residential care facility for senior citizens and people with disabilities went to a birch grove to combine a pleasant pastime with useful physical exercises.
According to specialist in social work, Nordic walking has all the benefits of aerobic exercise, while not having side disadvantages, such as a load on the knees and joints. As an experienced “Nordic Walker” Nikolai Kamaev said, the result is achieved naturally by means of rhythmic movement and proper inhalation of fresh air.
That day lovers of a healthy lifestyle were able to enjoy the last warm rays of the sun, rustling of foliage and the richness of autumn colors of nature.
