In the Verhneuslonsky house-boarding school has passed a competition of professional skill among cooks

Cook business is not a craft, but an art» - under such a motto the day before in the Verhneuslonsky house-boarding school there has passed a competition of professional skill among cooks of 2 branches of the establishment - Verhneuslonsky and Pestrechinsky. 5 experts of the cook business have taken part in the competition.
The competition consisted of 5 rounds in which not only practical skills were estimated, but also creative potential of the contestants at manufacturing and registration of dishes, table layout.
«Our wards should be glad every day with that food which moves to a table, welcoming the participants,- noticed a works manager Lilija Solovyova. - Therefore the purpose of this competition is increase of professional skill of workers of the nutrition unit, search of new ideas in catering services, improvement of quality of cooking».
In the first round - "Cut-away" the contestants represented themselves and their profession. The practical task of the second round became the most important test for all: the participants of the competition were offered to prepare a cold dish from an obligatory set of products. All contestants have surprised all spectators and jury not only flavoring qualities of their salads, but also registration, and also because of original names - "Kodru", "Bride", "Peking". In the round "Homework" the participants of the competition have presented an original dish and a batch on sale for older people.
The competent jury summed up spectators listened to fine songs performed by the leader of the competition Natalia Kotova.
The competition has come to the end and winners are defined. Gulfiya Minnullina managed to gain the greatest quantity of points . The second place was awarded at once to two participants - Lidiya Tihonova and Ljajsan Nabiullina. The third place was occupied with Galina Plohova.
All winners and contestants will be encouraged by the monetary award. Organizers and  participants of the competition remained  happy with successfully spent action and are assured that such competitions not only raise skill, after them they would like to create, make the usual menu novelties.
