The Ministry of Labour, Employment and Social protection informs. In accordance with the Law 1448-XII of 19 February 1992 “Holidays and commemorative dates” 30 August – The Day of the Republic of Tatarstan is declared to be a non-working day (holiday).

20 August 2015, Kazan, a special employment fair for young people will be held in Kazan medical college by the specialists of the Employment Centre for Vakhitovsky raion of Kazan. The organizers of the fair expect local employers to come and offer their open positions and places to study.

A round table discussion devoted to the problems of juvenile delinquency and discovering families at risk was held in Kazan Social Service Centre on a recent day.

The organizing committee of the Republican Contest of Social Programms Golden Autumn  has started to submit the requests for participation. The main aim of the Contest is to determine the best social program focused on rehabilitation of senior citizens and people with disabilities implemented in the subordinate social care institutions of the Ministry of Labour, Employment and Social Protection of the Republic of Tatarstan.

A regular recruitment fair was held yesterday by the specialists of the Employment Centre of Naberezhnye Chelny. The fair was held with participation of HR specialists from 12 local enterprises.

A special meeting with children – clients of the rehabilitation centre for children with disabilities was held by the specialists of the Employment Centre of Yelabuga. The aim of the meeting was to help the children with special needs to choose their future profession.

The clients of the Complex Social Service Centre of Buinsk became the spectators of the 16th FINA World Championships held in Kazan.

There are 16 505 people out of occupation registered in the government employment service in Tatarstan as of 4 August. The unemployment level dropped down this week to the point of 0,8% of gainfully employed population.

The largest number of people (86) recognized as unemployed over the reporting period from 29 July to 4 August were those dismissed from the wholesale and retail trade. A lot of discharges (68) were as well registered among the workers of processing industry companies.
