A special event for children under social patronage that was aimed at establishing international and interreligious consensus has been recently held by the social teacher of Nizhnekamsk Centre for Social Assistance for Family and Children. There are 16 193 people out of occupation registered in Tatarstan as of 15 September. This is 67 people less than the showings of the last week. The unemployment level remained unchanged this week at the point of 0,79%.
The largest number of people (136) recognized as unemployed over the period from 9 to 15 September were those dismissed from the processing industry companies. A lot of discharges (88) were as well registered among the workers of wholesale and retail trade.

Guzel Udachina, the Children’s rights ombudsman for the Republic of Tatarstan has recently visited the Rehabilitation Centre for Children with Disabilities in Kukmor. The ombudsman was accompanied by Ilsiyar Garifullina, the Chairman of the Governmental Committee for the Affairs of Minors and Protection of Their Rights. The aim of the visit was to familiarize with the activity of the Centre and monitor the observance of the rights and legitimate interests of minors.

A special event – the Day of Employer has been held by the specialists of the Employment Centre of Zelenodolsk in cooperation with OAO Zelenodolsk Heating Network Enterprise. Among the participants of the fair were unemployed residents of Zelenodolsk and everybody who wants to find a new place of work. The specialists of the Employment Centre offered 17 vacancies.
