Tony Widmer, Director of Russian-European Trust for Welfare Reforms, Officer of the British Empire, board member of the Union of Social Teachers and Social Workers has recently delivered a lecture on the subject “Social Care System for senior citizens and people with mental disorders in Great Britain” in the Ministry of Labour, Employment and Social Protection of the Republic of Tatarstan.

There are 15703 people registered as unemployed with the government employment service in Tatarstan as 3 November 2015 (151 people less than the showings of the last week).

According to monitoring of the Ministry of Labour, Employment and Social Protection 92 people recognized as unemployed over the period from October, 28 – November, 3 were those dismissed from the processing industry companies. 84 people lost their jobs in the field of wholesale and retail trade.

The Ministry of Labour, Employment and Social protection in cooperation with the shopping and recreation center MEGA held an annual children's holiday The World of Creativity for social shelters nurselings and children from multi-child and needy families. The holiday is traditionally held on National Day of Unity.

A special event under the slogan “Russia – unity of nations” has been recently held by the social teacher of Nizhnekamsk Centre of Social Assistance for Family and Children in the frames of the program “Patriotic Education of Young People in the Republic of Tatarstan”. The aim of the event was to educate the young generation in the spirit of patriotism, develop conflict-free communication skills, social adaptation of children with disabilities.
