Tony Widmer, Director of Russian-European Trust for Welfare Reforms, Officer of the British Empire, board member of the Union of Social Teachers and Social Workers has recently delivered a lecture on the subject “Social Care System for senior citizens and people with mental disorders in Great Britain” in the Ministry of Labour, Employment and Social Protection of the Republic of Tatarstan.
The listeners were informed about the positive and negative experience Great Britain gained reforming the social care system in particular by attracting non-government organizations and private individuals to render social services.
