The Ministry of  Labour, Employment and Social Protection of the Republic of Tatarstan carries on taking measures to observe the rights of employees specifically in a part of payment of wages in full and on time. This month, due to the work performed by the Republican Inter-Departmental Commission for Living Standards, Labour and Foreign Workers chair manned by the First Deputy Prime Minister of the Republic of Tatarstan Alexey Pesoshin, Coordination Council on Labor Compensation, Incomings and Social Standard of Living, Trilateral Commission for the Regulation of Social and Labour Relations, the corporate debtor OAO Kazgrazhdan project Institution offset arrears of salaries in an overall amount of 1 400 000 rubles.

An annual general meeting to summarize work undertaken in 2015 has been recently held in the Employment Centre of Almetyevsk. Among the participants of the meeting was Aydar Khayrullin, the chairman of the Raion Council of the Republic of Tatarstan.

The largest number of people (147) recognized as unemployed over the reporting period from 27 January to 2 February were those dismissed from the processing industry companies. A lot of discharges (132) were as well registered among the workers of wholesale and retail trade.

There are 17 072 people registered as unemployed with the government employment service in Tatarstan as of February, 2 (518 people more than the showings of the last week). The jobless level in Tatarstan stands at 0,83% of economically active population.

January, 18 - 26, the authorized officials of the Ministry of Labour, Employment and Social protection had carried out a scheduled inspection of public services delivering by the Job centre of  Vyisokaya Gora in the field of employment and registering disabled people as unemployed. The aim of the audit was to estimate the results of works performed by the Employment Centre specialists to correct the violations discovered during the previous check.
