As of 26 July 2016 number of unemployed registered with the State Employment Service for the Republic of Tatarstan increased by 26 people over the last week and amounted to 1 940 people out of occupation in the city of Naberezhnye Chelny.

Several briefing on anti-terrorism security were held in Complex Social Service Centre of Naberezhnye Chelny by specialist in civil defense and emergency situations. The briefings were held with the aim to inform the specialists about anti-terrorism security requirements imposed to social welfare institutions.

Employment service in Chistopol informs about the following. Occupational training courses “Cooking” organized by specialists of Autonomous Non-Commercial Organization Regional Agency for Qualification Development are finished.

Elmira Zaripova, the Minister of Labour, Employment and Social Protection of the Republic of Tatarstan at the press conference held in News Agency “Tatar-inform” informed about the number and types of industrial injuries registered in the Republic of Tatarstan. According to the Minister there were 81industrial accidents registered in Tatarstan within six months in 2016. At that among them there were 18 fatal occupational injuries and 63 severe accidents. Among the most injury-risk sectors were named processing industry, construction and transport sector. The most common causes of death were falls from height and road traffic accidents.

“We   vote for Kazan!” social action was held by specialists of the Employment Centre of Almetyevsk. The aim of the event was to involve city people and visitors of the city in all-Russian voting for symbols of new paper currency of the Bank of Russia.

Elmira Zaripova, the Minister of Labour, Employment and Social Protection of the Republic of Tatarstan at the press conference held in News Agency “Tatar-inform” announced about changes to legislation made to protect employees in case of late payment of wages or non-payment of salaries. Among them were named: imposing fines on employers up to 100 000 rubles, increasing of compensation for late payment of wages for employees, extension of the limitation period up to one year.

 “We vote for Kazan!” social action for children from families at risk has been recently held by specialists of the Complex Social Service Centre in Bugulma in cooperation with activists of local volunteers’ division.

Due to work performed by the Republican Inter-Departmental Commission for Living Standards, Labour and Foreign Workers in the Republic of Tatarstan in July this year, several corporate debtors operating in Kazan cleared arrears in payments.

A regular meeting of the Coordination Council of the Trilateral Commission for the Regulation of Social and Labour Relations has been held today in the Ministry of Labour, Employment and Social Protection of the Republic of Tatarstan. The agenda included discussion of financial and economic situation and measures to be taken to liquidate arrearage of salaries and social, medical and retirement insurance contributions.

A meeting of parents upbringing visually impaired children with eye care specialist of  Zainsk Central Raion Hospital was recently held by specialists of the Complex Social Service Centre. The meeting was held in the frames of the project “I learn to see the world”.
