21 – 22 August, the first international women congress entitled Women – strategic resource of the mankind was held in the trading and entertainment complex Korston. The aim of the congress was to involve women in Russia and partner countries in the process of modernization of the economy, working out the strategy of creating a balanced approach between the economics and social aspects of the problem.

A meeting devoted to the issues of disabled employment in consideration for established hiring quota for disabled job applicants and reserved workplaces was held in Almetyevsk. Among the participants were the deputy Head of Executive Committee on health care and social protection Ravil Khayrullin, specialists of the Employment Centre, employers, media personnel.

To be more precisely, companies and organizations of Tatarstan need 47 635workers. The number of vacancies reported by employers over reporting week from 13 to 19 August amounted to 3 018.

A regular fair of vacancies has been held today by the Jobcentre of Almetyevsk.

4 September, a war-patriotic camp-fire Robinson for children from the specialized institutions for minors will be held in the health improvement camp Scarlet sails in Naberezhnye Chelny. The camp-fire is timed to coincide with the 69th Anniversary of the Victory in the Great Patriotic War.

Ministry of Labor, Employment and Social protection keeps on reporting about people injured in industrial accidents on the factory floor in Tatarstan. According to the data of the State Labour Inspectorate, 4 fatal cases, 1 serious industrial accident and 1 group case were registered over the period from 11 to 15 August in Tatarstan.

The Republican Trilateral Commission for the Regulation of Social and Labour Relations worked out the Minimum Wage Agreement between the Federation of Trade Unions of Tatarstan, the Coordination board of Employers' Association, the Cabinet of Ministers of the Republic of Tatarstan that was signed on 13 August 2014.
