Yesterday, the Ministry of Labour, Employment and Social Protection held Coordinating Council of Trilateral Commission for the Regulation of Social and Labour Relations. The Council was chaired by the First deputy minister Ayrat Khasanov. The agenda included discussion of financial and economic situation and measures to be taken to liquidate arrearage of salaries and social, medical and retirement insurance contributions.

A special recruitment fair for senior citizens – residents of Almetyevsk has been held today by the specialists of the Jobcentre in concert with the local social services office.

There were 463 people out of occupation registered in the government employment service over the period from 12 to 18 November. 355 of them were dismissed, at that 254 workers resigned voluntarily and 33 people were fired because of the staff reduction or liquidation of a company

The number of registered people without occupation in Naberezhnye Chelny decreased this week by 55 people and amounted to 1 945.

Several special events in the frames of the republican Drug-free Campaign Drug Free Life-Style were held in the Rehabilitation centre for children with disabilities in Bugulma. Local Voluntary Service Organizations, parents as well as non-governmental organization be actively involved in this work.
