According to the Order of the President of the Republic of Tatarstan Rustam Minnikhanov, young mothers having lived in rural areas of Tatarstan for not less than 3 years, which born a baby after 1 January 2018 can get social welfare payment.

Territorial Social Security Offices throughout the Republic of Tatarstan keep on accepting claims for the First Baby Benefit - social safety net mechanism introduced by Russian President Vladimir Putin since 1 January 2018. As of 18 November 2018, 5 489 residents of Tatarstan were granted First Baby Benefit.

Tatarstan ranks fifth in the rating of regions with the most favorable conditions on labor market for pensioners. The study was conducted by RIA Rating, reports RIA News.

There are 9 978 people registered as unemployed with the State Employment Service for the Republic of Tatarstan as of 13 November 2018 (86 people less in comparison to showings of the last week).
