Specialist of Zainsk Employment Centre provide consultations for those to be laid off

Several meetings for teachers of village schools of Zainsk municipal district were held last week by specialists of the government employment service. The meetings were aimed at providing professional assistance for those at risk of job losses and unemployment.

Participants of the meetings were informed about labour and employment legislation of the Russian Federation, guarantees and compensations provided in case of termination of labour contract, state services rendered by the government employment service.

According to the Head of the Employment Centre of Zainsk, “while employers lay off workers because there isn’t enough work or as a cost-cutting measure, layoffs create potential significant legal costs if they aren’t done well and morale, productivity, and loyalty in the workplace may suffer among the employees who are left”
