Social and cultural events for children in Zainsk municipal district

Another cultural event for children “What a wonderful world” annually held in August has been held today in Zainsk municipal district.

According to organizers of the event – specialists in social work of Zainsk Complex Social Service Centre, as children grow older, their interests and preferences are likely to assume a greater role in shaping the activities in which they engage. At this stage, involvement in structured cultural activities becomes more prevalent. A lot of children take part in a structured cultural class or club (such as dance, drama and music) outside school time. Such involvement is highly differentiated by social background and by gender, with girls from more advantaged families having the highest level of involvement. The event was supported by Foundation for children from deprived background.
