Veterans of Great Patriotic War take a river boat cruise

An annual river boat cruise along the route Kazan – Moscow – Kazan for veterans of the Great Patriotic War was started in Kazan River port. Marat Gafarov, First Deputy Minister of Labour, Employment and Social Protection of the Republic of Tatarstan took part in seeing-off ceremony.
Trip along Volga River on three-deck motor ship “Enchanted pilgrim” coincided with the 72nd Anniversary of Victory in the Great Patriotic War will last till 8 June 2017. This year the number of cruise participants amounted to 150 people: 120 veterans, 20 schoolchildren of cadet schools, 10 accompanying officials.
