Anti drug events in social shelter of Naberezhnye Chelny

Another informational meeting with specialist of   narcological dispensary was recently organized within the walls of the social shelter for minors in municipal district of Naberezhnye Chelny. The meeting was held in the frames of measures taken to prevent drug addiction and promote healthy life-style.

The children were informed about harmful consequences of drug addiction, physical health and professional life,      strain on the organs, as well as the venous and respiratory system after prolonged use.

The specialist pointed out that although initial drug use happened be voluntary, drugs had been shown to alter brain chemistry, which interfered with an individual's ability to make decisions and could lead to compulsive craving, seeking and use.
