Prior to celebration of the Victory Day a competition of children’s drawings was organized in the Rehabilitation Centre for Children with Disabilities in Kazan. The competition was held under slogan “I remember, I am proud!”. Throughout several days children – clients of the Centre and their talented parents created in workshops.
The week of creativity was ended with photo session. The children wearing military uniform representing different branches of the armed forces were depicted with veterans of the Great Patriotic war.

In order to organize systematic work to support various categories of Fatherland defenders, participants in heroic events, as well as to perpetuate the memory of servicemen and law enforcement officials who died in the performance of military and official duty, a public project of the Volga Federal District “Heroes of the Fatherland” was held.
