Social Work Case Management Workshop held in Tatarstan

Another Republican Workshop devoted to issues of social work case management was recently held within the walls of the Ministry of Labour, Employment and Social Protection of the Republic of Tatarstan. The aim of the workshop was to come to conclusion that providing services a professional social worker collaboratively assessed the needs of the client and the client’s family, arranged and advocated for a package of multiple services to meet the specific client’s complex needs.

Among the participants of the workshop were among others specialists in social work of Complex Social Service Centres located in all the municipal districts of the Republic of Tatarstan, Nizhnekamsk Territorial Social Assistance Centre for Family and Children, in total 107 specialists from social service institutions from across the Republic of Tatarstan. The agenda of the workshop included issues of

psychosocial assessment and diagnoses, financial assessment, patient and family counseling, crisis intervention and others.
