In accordance with the Law of the Republic of Tatarstan “About disabled employment quotas and reservation of working places for citizens requiring social protection” and Order of the Cabinet of Ministers of the Republic of Tatarstan “About regulation on the arrangements of establishing disabled employment quotas in organizations of the Republic of Tatarstan” disabled employment quotas are set for organizations operating in the Republic of Tatarstan.
Disabled employment quotas are supposed to address issues of social protection and employment of socially and economically disadvantaged groups more effectively. However, facts of legal requirements non-compliance are annually registered in the Republic of Tatarstan.
For example, according to the ruling of the justice of the peace of judicial district №1 for Moscow district of Kazan, HR-Manager of OOO Bank of Kazan was found guilty of committing administrative offence provided in Article 5.42 of Administrative Offenses Code of the Russian Federation and was held liable to fine at a rate of 5 000 rubles.
In this regard the Ministry of Labour, Employment and Social Protection of the Republic of Tatarstan highlights the necessity to supply information about providing employment opportunities for people with disabilities to Employment Centers in proper time.
