New Year holidays to last till 9 January

The Ministry of Labour, Employment and Social Protection of the Republic of Tatarstan regarding the New Year holidays in 2017 announces the following.
In accordance with Article 112 of the Labour Code of the Russian Federation New Year holidays in January 2016 will last from 1 to 9 January in case that internal labour regulations prescribe 5-day working week.
In compliance of the Decree of the Government of the Russian Federation№ 756 from 4 August 2016 “About staggering of holidays in 2017” the following non-working days will be substituted:
-from 1 January, Sunday to 24 February, Friday;
-from 7 January, Saturday to 8 May, Monday.
