Volunteers Research and Application Conference

Research and Application Conference “Mercy: volunteers in aid of families upbringing children with disabilities” has been recently organized by the specialists of the educational orphanage for children with disabilities in Nizhnekamsk.

The conference was opened by Nina Bukhanova, the head of the educational orphanage. After that, the participants of the Conference – Liliya Antonova, deputy head of Territorial Social Security Office and Oleg Agapov, member of Nizhnekamsk Community Council were called on to speak.

Plenary part of the Conference was devoted to reports of the participants. Among the issues discussed during the Conference were       among others, social patronage of families at risk, problems of families upbringing children with disabilities, organization of courses for parents and trainings for children with specific developmental disorders of speech and language.

The agenda of the Conference included as well master-classes and trainings held by specialists of Rehabilitation Centres.
