Republican Festival of Creative Practices

A regular Republican Festival of Creative Practices organized by the Ministry of Labour, Employment and Social Protection of the Republic of Tatarstan was held yesterday in Yelabuga. The Festival was held in cooperation with the residential care facility for senior citizens and people with disabilities of Yelabuga.

The specialists of the care home represented two methods used in their practice – “Art-therapy: sand drawings on light table in rehabilitation of senior citizens”, “Folk choreography - round dancein rehabilitation of senior citizens”.

Both methods were proved to be very popular among residents of the care home. According to specialists in rehabilitation, such methods were helpful in developing fine motor skills, improvement psychophysical state, increment in activity, getting rid of negative emotions.
