Two generations meet on Victory Day

A special meeting of younger and the older generations has been recently held in the Victory Park of Arsk by the specialists of the Complex Social Service Centre. The participants of the meeting were children from families at risk and clients of the Home Care Department of the Centre – veterans of the Great Patriotic war.
According to the social workers, the aim of the meeting was to introduce the younger generation with life and heroic deeds of their countrymen during the years of the Great Patriotic war.
The children were demonstrated military decorations of veterans and told personal stories of the heroes. The meeting was finished with photographing.

In order to organize systematic work to support various categories of Fatherland defenders, participants in heroic events, as well as to perpetuate the memory of servicemen and law enforcement officials who died in the performance of military and official duty, a public project of the Volga Federal District “Heroes of the Fatherland” was held.
