May days in Tatarstan

The Ministry of Labour, Employment and Social Protection of the Republic of Tatarstan regarding the May Day holidays in 2016 announces the following.
In accordance with Article 112 of the Labour Code of the Russian Federation the 1st of May - Spring and Labour Day and the 9th of May – Victory Day are declared to be nonworking days (holidays).
This year the 1st of May falls on a weekend day – Sunday. In this case the Article 112 of the Labour Code of the Russian Federation prescribes to transfer the weekend day to the 2nd of May – Monday.
Therefore, in case that internal labour regulations prescribe 5-day working week, April 30, May 1, 2, 3, 8 and 9 will be nonworking days (holidays).
