Processing industry companies lead in number of dismissals

The largest number of people (164) recognized as unemployed by the state employment service over the reporting period from 9 to 15 March 2016 were those dismissed from processing industry companies. A lot of discharges (132) were as well registered at wholesale and retail trade companies.

In other economic activities as of the end of the week the situation was as follows:  60 workers that lost their jobs were employed in construction, 47 – real estate business, 40 - in the transport and communication sector, 54 - financial sector, 28 - in housing and municipal services, 48 – education,  25 - in public health service, 29 - in agricultural sector, 30 - public administration and defence, 11 - in HoReCa business, 9 - mineral production, 15 - in power industry.
