Tatarstan official delegation visits Leningrad Oblast

An official invitation to the conference devoted to problems of the older generation sent by the Committee on Social Security of the Leningrad Oblast has been recently accepted by the Ministry officials.

Problems of ageing of population, geriatrics and social service, prevention of elder abuse were in the limelight of the round table discussions. The report of the delegation of Tatarstan aroused the interest of the audience. The speakers informed the attendants about innovative approaches implemented in social service in Tatarstan, new technologies of social work with senior citizens, prevention of elder abandonment, medical, social and psychological rehabilitation of senior citizens living along as well as residents of social facilities.
