Elmira Zaripova addresses residents of Tatarstan on account of International Day of Older Persons

International Day of Older Persons – is probably one of the most important highlights in the calendar. Each year, on October 1 we hon our the treasury of the nation – senior citizen. The senior citizens who remained standing going through many trials, fighting for their Motherland at the fronts of the Great Patriotic war, working hard at the home front. Those who showed the entire world the force and might of our country. Those who were nod bend by the historic crucial points of the heroic past of our people and country.

There are more than 927 000 senior citizens – residents of the Republic of Tatarstan as of today. 197 of them possess 100 year life experience.  We do a lot to secure them favourableand comfortable environment for living. We im prove  the work of social services, material and technical resources of social care institutions that allow us to raise the level of rendering social services.
