Meeting with war veterans

A festive event coincided with the 70-th Anniversary of the Victory in the Great Patriotic war was held in the social shelter for minors in Pestretsy. Mikhail Kozlov and Nina Kupriyanova, the veterans of the Great Patriotic war became the special guests of the event.
The veterans of war shared with the children their memories about the war time, brave feats and their medals. The children listened to the stories with heart aflutter.

In order to organize systematic work to support various categories of Fatherland defenders, participants in heroic events, as well as to perpetuate the memory of servicemen and law enforcement officials who died in the performance of military and official duty, a public project of the Volga Federal District “Heroes of the Fatherland” was held.
