Readers’ Marathon 70 Voices of Victory

A special readers’ marathon under the slogan 70 Voices of Victory has been recently held in the residential care home for senior citizens and people with disabilities in Chistopol. Among the participants of the marathon were people of different age and professions as well as the clients and the workers of the care home. The participants recited poems in Russian and Tatar languages expressing the bitterness of parting, the joy of meeting, and happiness of the Victory.

According to the organizers, such events are proved to be the effective form of connection between the generations and keeping in memory the events of the wartime with the aim to save the heritage of the Victory in the Great Patriotic war.
