Volunteers visit the social shelter of Mendeleyevsk

A special meeting with volunteers has been organized today in the social shelter for minors in Mendeleyevsk. The aim of the meeting was patriotic education. The participants discussed the emblem of peacerepresented on the emblem of the 70-th Anniversary of the Victory in the Great Patriotic war.
The volunteers told the children about the emblem of peace – a white dove. The children together with the social teachers of the shelter made paper doves that would be given to the veterans of war on the 9-th of May. What is more the children took part in the in the drawings competitions: The Children of War, My Family and War, Thank You, Grandpa for the Victory.
